My Story

My name is Yasoda Magdalena, and my label Ya-Lena is inspired by my own name and journey. From 2009 to 2012, I studied fashion design in Stuttgart, and for a decade I worked in Munich as a costume designer for film and television. This creative path taught me the power of detail, the art of storytelling through design, and the beauty of individuality.

In 2022, love changed everything. I followed my heart — to a man, to marriage, to our son, and to the small Greek island of Lipsi, which now inspires every piece I create.

Ya-Lena jewelry is handcrafted with carefully selected gemstones and freshwater pearls, finished with 18k gold-plated details. Each piece combines sophistication with the natural, boho-inspired spirit of island life.
